My Story

Experiencing depression in childhood, I became viscerally aware of the weight of emotional pain early on. Navigating through my own life’s adversities and limitations directly influenced my therapeutic focus on the emotional and relational contributions of human suffering, with the hope that, a person can grow into their true self and fuller human capacity through meaningful reflection and therapeutic relationships. My passion is to support you in becoming you in this world we all live in - as your self, and also as part of something greater.

I was born in Chongqing, China (known for its delicious and spicy food), and started my overseas studying journey as a young adolescent. Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, I had intensive experience as a tutor, coach, and academic counselor, supporting people in their educational and fitness goals. I am a lifelong learner who is passionate about working with clients of all cultures, beliefs, and self-identities.

Outside the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with sports, meditation, nature, and animals. With over a decade of training in multiple combat sports, I continue pursuing my dream of becoming a professional boxing world champion. Being a fighter is a profound part of my identityβ€”as someone who defied fate, I am eternally grateful for the sport of boxing, and all the people who have supported me in this journey.

Welcome to this space - I am truly humbled that you found me here.

I am dedicated to creating a space for our true selves to emerge beyond ordinary awareness and life's existential conditions - a space where our natural intellectual curiosity and emotional authenticity can be seen, where our innate capacity for growth is honored.
